Herbal medicine and nutritional supplements can improve mood, anxiety and depression safely and without side effects.

Adrenal Depletion, Adrenal Exhaustion

Adrenal depletion, Adrenal Exhaustion also known as “burn out” is the reduced capacity to cope with stress, usually brought on by the chronic effects of continued stress. Herbal medicine can restore the adrenal glands, along with Vitamin B, Magnesium and Vitamin C. You may also need immune support such as Echinacea.

Anxiety and Depression

I often treat Depression and Anxiety. If you are on medication, I work safely along side the medication and choose remedies such as Magnesium and homeopathic remedies and Bach Flowers. Bach Flowers are excellent and I muscle test these so you have a special blend that is unique to you. If you are not on medication, we can use St John’s Wort or 5HTP and other remedies.

Insomnia

Insomnia responds well to change of diet, addition of Magnesium and herbal medicine. You may need an anti-infective protocol. Herbal medicine and nutrients can strengthen and feed the nervous system so that you are able to cope with the demands of our busy life. Magnesium is commonly prescribed. Signs of magnesium deficiency are flickering eyelids, shaky tongue, cramps, painful periods and irritability. Panic attacks
