Tips for Dealing with Herxheimer Reaction or Symptoms of Yeast Die-off

· Dose of Anti-fungals. Some people are sensitive and I start them on a lower dose and gradually increase.

· Enzymes: Taking digestive enzymes with meals may improve digestion of foods and support the bug kill.

· Drink plenty water.

· Keep your bowels moving. You must address constipation as otherwise you are reabsorbing the toxins from the die off. Prunes can be a good option or mix 2 tbsp of ground flax or chia seeds into water, stir, let sit for 10 minutes and drink on an empty stomach. Start every morning with a big glass of warm water.

· Epsom salts bath is an effective detox. Put 3 cups of Epsom salts in the bath and soak for 20 minutes.

· Get plenty sleep. Go easy on yourself during this period. Go to bed early and don’t take on any more than you have to. Within ten days to two weeks you will have 'turned a corner' and be starting to feel better.
